The program is taught in English, and both students and instructors come from all around the world. At the gates of the Arctic
The seaside community of Ísafjörður will welcome you warmly to the cool of the sub-arctic. The small-town atmo-sphere makes it easy to settle in and meet people. The remote and exciting Westfjords are a rich field for research and case studies, and coursework places local conditions in their global context. Hands-on learning and field trips around the region play a large role in the Uni-versity Centre's courses.
