This was a realization of a long-standing need for university level education in duodji in the Swedish side of Sapmi. At
the Sami University College there is already a Bachelor of Arts
programme where during the third year a course called Duodji 2 is
offered. A parallel course in Jokkmokk was organized in collaboration with the course at Sami University College in
Guovdageaidnu (Kautokeino).
