One of the important components of the modern daily life is the access to medical care. Because of very low population density in the Arctic, this access is often provided by air medical services, which require the special complex of technical and medical infrastructure. In the presentation I am going to compare, how that air medical services are arranged now in two neighboring regions of the Russian Arctic located along the Northern Sea Route: the Nenets Autonomous District and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.
