This panel invites papers on experiences in education evoking/engaging Arctic worldviews in disciplines such as anthropology, (ethno-)history, philology, literature, film and media studies + secondary education, drawing on a variety of sources including notably textual and visual archival material, oral literature, life stories, travel accounts, interviews and documentaries. The aim is to compare approaches and to share best practices while highlighting the importance of this reputedly difficult subject in relation to the notion of memory, so intimately connected to our identity, a key issue the preservation of memory and heritage are concerned.
