The aim of the session is to increase the awareness of Arctic working life and investigate common research needs to solve problems in working life and businesses in the Arctic region. The scope of the session is physical and psychological performance.  We invite papers which extend our knowledge of individual differences in performance and thermal stress, and how to monitor them, needs of personal protection, and prevention of stress and health disorders by using smart technology and different work practices. Also testing services can be introduced.

The outcomes of the session are exchange of experiences and results of research in the fields of physiological, psychological, technical and medical support of labor, comparison and distribution of best practices as well as recommendations for protection of persons working in the Arctic.
