This presentation can be tailored to the needs of the program and panel. The proposed title focuses on work at Dartmouth - in the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding, the Institute of Arctic Studies, the Environmental Studies Program, and other multidisciplinary programs - to teach the practice of science diplomacy as a more collaborative, respectful, and inclusive model for young scholars to engage Arctic partners and advance global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Examples of Dartmouth courses, collaborative workshops and symposia, and experiential education initiatives developed with Arctic partners that advance science diplomacy and the SDGs will be presented.
