NordForsk has announced the creation of three new funding instruments for research and co-operation in Nordic countries.

The three new funding instruments are: a Nordic stem cell mobility programme, a programme for joint Nordic use of research infrastructure and a coordination activity – NORIA-net – which aims to enhance cooperation among Nordic national research and innovation funders and managers.

The objective of the NordForsk grants is to strengthen the mutual exchange of ideas and competencies, mobility, and the Nordic region as a common area for research and training.

NordForsk is an independent institution operating under the Nordic Council of Ministers for Education and Research. The institution is responsible for Nordic cooperation within research and research training.
