The transatlantic mobility activities will benefit to higher education students, vocational education and training learners and teachers/trainers/administrative staff in the framework of joint study programmes, underpinned by appropriate arrangements for mutual credit recognition, language and cultural preparation, and the necessary services and facilities. The TEP projects must, therefore, be student-centred rather than oriented towards research collaboration between partners. The main focus of activities must be on transatlantic rather than intra-European or intra-Canadian interactions.
Submission of grant requests under this 2008 Call for Proposals is open to higher education institutions and to vocational education and training institutions. European eligible institutions must be established in one of the 27 Member States of the European Union.
Funding:
The budget available for the co-financing of projects is estimated at EUR 1.242 million. It is anticipated that approximately 9 projects will be funded in 2008. The maximum amount of funding on the EU side will be EUR 138.000 for a 3-year consortium project. Projects activities are planned to start in October 2008 and last for 36 months.
