The symposium will provide a forum for the exchange of operational and research information related to weather in the Alaska environment. Primary topics will include:- operational forecasting and observational sources in Alaska;
- polar aspects of weather; and
- reanalysis and data assimilation.
One-paragraph abstracts for 20-30 minute presentations are invited and should be submitted by Tuesday, 4 March 2008, at: http://weather.arsc.edu/Events/LAWS08
Registration is required no later than Wednesday, 30 April 2008. There is no registration fee.
