Other members of the delegation included Outi Snellman, Director of Administration and University Relations, Eystein Markusson, Chair of the Field School and Chair of the Norwegian IPY Committee, and Anders Oskal, Vice-President of the World Reindeer Centre and representing the Reindeer Information Centre in Kautokeino Norway.
The visit is also a part a fact-finding misssion for the Uarctic Taste of the Arctic cookbook project, and included Andreas Viestad, Björn Gabrielssen and Mette Randem from Norway as the cookbook team. The students at the Vetenary School prepared a demonstration of traditional Yamal cooking techniques and traditions.
