Topics for papers include:

-Digital resources from the high north, and methods how to integrate them in university and college curriculum.
-Network technologies and teaching and learning of English as a foreign language.
-Special challenges and problems in developing and supporting open and distance education and lifelong learning within -Arctic countries.
-ICT-supported learning aimed at students with special needs
-Policy issues related to the support of open and distance education for Arctic and Northern learners

Authors are cautioned that the International Review of Open and Distance Learning is not soliciting manuscripts dealing with technology use in traditional classrooms.

Timelines:
24 February – Call for Papers.
30 March – Call closed
30 April – Peer review completed, revisions requested
30 May – final copy due
30 June – Issue released

In the Norwegian university index IRRODL papers will count as a level 1 publication.
