The session will be initiated by Jérôme Chappellaz (Directeur de Recherche au Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, CNRS) presenting a brief outline of the objectives of Past4Future and some of the science challenges in the field of palaeo-climate now and in the future. The invited guests are then to each give a 5 minutes address focusing on a Past4Future-pertinent topic of their own choice. Following the addresses, it is time for questions and dialogue.
