Around 100 representatives of indigenous peoples from the Murmansk Region, the Yamal-Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous areas, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and other Russian regions took part in the forum, who are interested in research, development and preservation of social and economic potential, traditional way of life and cultural values of Indigenous peoples of the Russian North, Siberia and Far East.
Forum has become a platform for discussion and establishing a long-term cooperation and appointment perspective ways of further activities for development of indigenous youth movement. The forum program included team-building and cultural activities.
Participants received certificates for participation in expedition to one of the areas of Arctic region and invitations for Arctic and Young Leader School forums, for two weeks internship on the base of Russian universities, as well as participations in international events and in the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
The forum is planned to be held annually on international level.
