The survey is going simultaneously in several Arctic countries. Its results will be summarized and presented in a report at the Third International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP), to be held in April 2015 in Toyama, Japan.
International Conference on Arctic Research Planning is held every 10 years and is a tool for long-term planning. Its purpose is to coordinate the efforts of scientists and politicians from both Arctic and non-Arctic states to identify research priorities in the Arctic.
The conference is organized by the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC), with the support of the International Arctic Social Sciences Association (IASSA) and the University of the Arctic.
PLEASE NOTE that the target audience of the survey is the people not engaged in research of the North, the Arctic and the Circumpolar region (they may be administrative staff of educational institutions, representatives of business and others wishing to participate in the survey).
The questionnaire is available on-line here.
We ask you to fill in the questionnaire before 5 April 2015.
