In order to financial (in the form of grants) and institutional support for research in the humanities, Russian Foundation for Humanities (RFH) holds an annual contest of research projects. Among this year's winners there are two projects of Tyumen State Oil and Gas University’s representatives:
- Anatoly Silin, Doctor in Sociology, Professor, project "Human development and social situation in the Arctic region as a factor of the Russian Federation’s fuel-energy complex elaboration".
- Vera Gavrilyuk, Doctor in Sociology, Professor, Department of Sociology Head, project "Vision of the future in social mobility algorithm choice by modern Russian youth."
The Foundation is a public non-profit organization in the form of federal state budgetary institution and one of the most important institutions of science. RHF operates in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and other federal executive authorities, state and public organizations.
