The Terrestrial Ecosystem Group (TEG) is a working group under the Nordic Council of Ministers for the Environment that funds Nordic projects. Its objective is to curb negative trends in biodiversity, maintain robust ecosystems and continue to deliver the ecosystem services necessary for welfare and economic growth.
TEG’s main focus is on nature conservation, biodiversity and ecosystems, but the group also addresses outdoor life, the landscape and the cultural environment (with an emphasis on cultural landscapes), as well as the links between climate change and biodiversity.
TEG would like to encourage projects that seek to conduct evaluations and compile statistics from the Nordic countries in order to quantify value generation in environmental, social and financial terms.
Projects must involve participants from at least three Nordic countries or autonomous areas.
The deadline for applications is 15 June 2015.
