This call aims to promote transnational mobility of artists and professionals to enable them to cooperate internationally and to internationalise their careers and activities in the Union and beyond, as well as strengthening audience development as a means of improving access to European cultural and creative works and cultural heritage.
Another priority of this call is to foster creativity, innovative approaches to creation, and new ways of ensuring spillover effects to other sectors. This programme seeks to support projects mainly working on: transnational mobility; audience development; capacity building – digitisation; capacity building – new business models; and capacity building – education and training. In particular, it will support non-profit projects.
Applications from legal entities established in one of the following country categories are eligible to apply:
•EU member states and overseas countries and territories which are eligible to participate in the Programme pursuant to Article 58 of Council Decision 2001/822/EC;
•acceding countries, candidate countries and potential candidates benefiting from a pre-accession strategy;
•European free trade association countries;
•the Swiss Confederation;
•countries covered by the European neighbourhood policy.
The schemes are open to cultural and creative operators which are active in the cultural and creative sectors as defined in article 2 of the Regulation who are legally established in one of the countries participating in the programme.
Depending on the scale, needs, nature, objectives and priorities of the project, the applicant will have to choose to apply under either category 1 – Smaller scale cooperation projects or under category 2 – Larger scale cooperation projects.
The total budget will be around €35,000,000.
Organisations wishing to apply for 'Support to European cooperation projects' are invited to submit applications online by 7 October 2015, 12:00 noon (midday, Brussels time) to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency in Brussels.
