The book is a result of research conducted by many members of the Sub-group of
Philosophy of Law in the Arctic. The aim of the book is to define and systematize Arctic legal philosophy problems. In this book, there are five thematic parts, with sixteen short articles all together.

A new publication has been produced by the Arctic Law Thematic Network's Sub-group of Philosophy of Law in the Arctic, and edited by Dawid Bunikowski of the University of Eastern Finland.
