MAC gathered 27 students and young scientists from Russia, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, the United States and Finland as well as honorary lecturers and speakers - experts in the field of international relations and research in the Arctic region.

September 20-21, participants reproduced the work of the Arctic Council in two working groups. The first working group (PAME) discussed the issues of Arctic tourism; the second group (SDWG) talked on sustainable development of reindeer herding in the Arctic zone.

Recommendations of the working groups were submitted to the meeting of Senior Officials (SAO) and resulted in the Arkhangelsk Declaration, which was signed on September 22 by students who played the role of the Arctic countries ministers.
