The aims of the workshop are:
- to attract students to scientific and pedagogical work
- to contribute to developing modern technologies in indigenous languages teaching
- to bring together researchers, who study the indigenous peoples of the North and the Arctic, and specialize in linguistics, literature, ethnolinguistics, ethnic education
- to exchange experience in research and teaching
An e-tutorial for teachers of indigenous languages and literatures will be prepared based on the results of the workshop.
Please register before January 20, 2018. There is no participation fee. Abstracts and presentations are accepted until February 27, 2018.

International tutorial workshop "Teaching indigenous languages and literatures in the Arctic" in Yakutia

The workshop will take place March 20 - 23, 2018 at Topolinskaya comprehensive secondary school in Yakutia, Russia. The workshop is jointly organized by the North-Eastern Federal University and Topolinskaya school as a part of the UArctic Thematic Network "Arctic Lingua" activities and is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and Institute of the Humanities and the Indigenous Peoples of the North.
