The new Thematic Networks are:
- Arctic Lingua, hosted by North-eastern Federal University, The Russia Federation
- Arctic Migration, hosted by University of Lapland, Finland
- Arctic Research Administration, hosted by Syktyvkar State University, The Russian Federation
- Arctic WASH, hosted by Arctic Technology Centre (ARTEK), Denmark
- Anthropods of the Tundra / NeAT, hosted by Aarhus University, Denmark
- Global Ecological and Economic Connections in Arctic and Sub-Arctic Crab Fisheries, hosted by University of Southern Denmark, Denmark
- Science Diplomacy, hosted by Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy - Tufts University, USA
Once approved by Council, the Thematic Network is given provisional status for a one-year period. If the new Thematic Network has initiated their activities during this period, their endorsement will become final.
This year's final endorsements were given to the following Thematic Networks:

- Arctic Economic Science, hosted by UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Norway
- Arctic Safety and Security, hosted by Nord University, Norway
- Language Documentation and Language Technologies for Circumpolar Region, hosted by Buryat State University, The Russian Federation
- Arctic Sustainable Resources and Social Responsibility, hosted by Copenhagen Business School, Denmark
- Sustainable Production and Foraging of Natural Products in the North, hosted by University of Helsinki, Finland
