ID: H2020-MSCA-NIGHT-2020bis
The European Researchers' Night aims to bring researchers closer to the general public and to increase awareness of research and innovation activities, with a view to supporting the public recognition of researchers, creating an understanding of the impact of researchers' work on citizen’s daily life, and encouraging young people to embark on research careers.
Main events can last for up to two full days and pre-events can be organised during spring or summer prior to the main event. Activities are typically structured around an awareness campaign, activities during the event, impact assessment and management. They should have a focus on pupils and students. Activities should be both educational and entertaining. Applicants are encouraged to include activities relating to the European Green Deal, where appropriate.
Legal entities established in EU member states or H2020 associated countries, or created under union law, and international European interest organisations may apply. Entities can apply alone or as several organisations constituting a partnership at regional, national or international level.
The budget is €8 million for projects lasting up to 12 months to cover the 2021 edition of the event.
