ACEP provides leadership in developing energy systems for islanded, non-integrated electric grids and their associated oil-based heating systems. ACEP is an energy research group operating in the areas of energy research, energy justice, tech transfer, modeling, and systems testing and design. Their mission is to develop and disseminate practical, cost-effective, and innovative energy solutions for Alaska and beyond.
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop professional quality systems and processes for managing, analyzing, and serving data and data products from diverse and dynamic sources while working within an inclusive team. Those who enjoy working collaboratively and have communication, organizational, and time management skills are encouraged to apply.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in information technology (IT), software development, or science research field and four years of experience in a science or IT field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
