UArctic, in cooperation with the Arctic Circle, invite nominations for TWO Frederik Paulsen Arctic Academic Action Awards. One award is open to any individual or small group, and another specifically catalyzing institutional collaboration in support of innovative action amongst UArctic members.

The Online Meeting of the Digital Belt and Road (DBAR) and Pan-Eurasian Experiment (PEEX) programmes on “Coordinated, comprehensive, long-term in situ component of land-atmosphere measurements for complementing the space borne Earth Observation” took place on 31 March 2022.

KOPRI invites students and researchers to take part in the “KOPRI Fellowship Program”, and actively engage in polar sciences. Please note that the program has three categories: Asia, Arctic and Antarctic.   


The Board of UArctic met on 31 March – 2 April 2022 in St Prex and Lausanne, Switzerland. The Board discussed UArctic finances and fundraising, student representatives’ proposals for future development, and prepared for the Annual Assembly of UArctic.

Arctic Encounter Anchorage 2022 is a two-day symposium that will take place at the Dena'ina Convention Center and the Anchorage Museum in Downtown Anchorage on Thursday, April 7, 2022, and Friday, April 8, 2022.
