Julia Stenman from Tampere University recently went on a north2north exchange to Memorial University of Newfoundland where she was able to experience the rich Newfoundland and Canadian culture and learn about different Arctic areas.

The Arctic Futures 2050 Conference is designed to enhance collaboration between Arctic scientists from many disciplines, diverse indigenous knowledge holders, and policy makers from all levels of government. Applications for travel awards are due 1 May 2019. The conference will be held 4-6 September 2019 in Washington, D.C.

UArctic Thematic Network on Teacher Education and UNITWIN/UNESCO network on Teacher Education are organising a joint webinar as part of UN International Year of Indigenous Languages 2019.
