A group of Danish engineering students from Aarhus University, have photographed a complete iceberg below the ocean surface, using an underwater robot they built themselves and reveal surprising new knowledge about icebergs.

At the SAO meeting at the University of Lapland, in Rovaniemi, Finland, the Arctic Council focused its discussions on Arctic biodiversity and received updates from all the Council’s subsidiary bodies on their ongoing work.

The Model Arctic Council (MAC) took place at the same time as the Arctic Council meeting at University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland. The MAC was arranged by the University of Lapland. The students eagerly took part in discussions and engaged in debate as where they part of the real Arctic Council.

The Arctic Yearbook 2018  was launched on November 1, 2018 during the Model Arctic Council event that was held at the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland. The theme of the yearbook is Arctic Development - in Theory & in Practice.
