With funding provided by the National Recording Preservation Foundation, the University of Alaska Fairbanks Oral History Program was able to have 59 ‘Cuttlefish Project’ magnetic audio reels digitized by a professional company.

Living in the landscape (LiLa) is an multidisciplinary summer school for MA and PhD students where landscapes are explored with culturally sensitive and new materialistic investigations and art-based processing.




An international team of scientists used a supercomputer at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) to calibrate their findings as they examine the impact of climate change on glaciers in Western Canada and around the world. Their work is the cover story in the latest issue of the journal Science.
