The competition implies that the Russian participants of joint projects are financed by the RHF and Norwegian participants - by the Research Council of Norway. The expertise of the joint projects is carried out on the basis of the RHF and RCN expert system.
In 2013-2014 in the framework of the international competition RHF - RCN Norway the projects in the following priority areas are supported:
1. Sectoral (industry) and regional economy, the economy of the population, migration and demography.
2. Prediction of social and economic development, government regulation of the economy and the management of social and economic processes.
3. Social right. Labor Law. Pension rights.
Type of projects
Applications of type project “a” (joint research projects carried out by research teams) are accepted.
The Foundation supports research projects carried out by individual researchers or teams of scientists (up to 10 people on the Russian side) in the humanities and social sciences according to the RHF classifier.
Please, pay attention! Russian scientists have to keep in mind that their Norwegian partners must submit an application to the Research Council of Norway.
Deadlines:
∙ processing applications starts in June 3, 2013;
∙ registration deadline for applications in electronic form - September 10, 2013 (including);
∙ submission deadline for paper copy applications - 15 September 2013 (including).
The project start - Jan. 1, 2014.

The main objective of the competition is to consolidate the effort of the Russian Foundation for Humanities (RHF) and the Research Council of Norway (RCN) in the financing of humanitarian research carried out jointly by scientists in the field of humanities from the Russian Federation and Norway.
