The theme of the exhibition gives an overview of different art and design collaborative projects between schools, universities, tourism and various sectors of society. The exhibition displays artworks from 23 artists from eight different countries. The artworks are examples of the ASAD network’s research, development and educational projects. The exhibition builds strongly on multidisciplinary arts. In addition to visual arts, the exhibition includes artworks using audio, installations, video and textile art and clothing design from Murmansk State University and graphic design from Komi Republic, Russia.
The exhibition is arranged in collaboration with University of Lapland, Nord University and Helgeland Museum. Curators are Ann Kristin Klausen, Helgaland Museum and assistant professor Mette Gårdvik, Faculty of Education and Arts, Nord University.
Exhibition is open is open at Helgeland Museum´s old trading house, Zahl November 7 – December 7, 2018.
