DurhamARCTIC Summer School 25-28 April, 2019

The Summer School will be held in conjunction with the final conference of the ICE LAW Project.

The conference will feature a poster presentation session where Summer School attendees will present on ongoing or completed research projects. Following the conclusion of the conference, a series of student-specific training workshops will commence, focusing on communicating one’s research between disciplines and to audiences outside the academy. The Summer School programme will conclude late afternoon on Sunday 28^th April.

Whilst the I CE LAW Project is devoted to a specific set of problems at the intersection of law, geography, anthropology, and politics, Summer School attendees may be conducting research in any discipline, so long as it has an Arctic focus, and Summer School attendees’ poster presentations at the ICE LAW conference may diverge from the ICE LAW theme.

DurhamARCTIC will fund Summer School attendance for 14 Early Career Researchers (current PhD students, or those within three years of receiving their PhD).
