The main goal is to foster new and strengthen existing partnerships to collaboratively scope a student-centered and locally tailored circumpolar education program. We believe that your expertise, insights, and local knowledge could greatly contribute to this endeavour.
The panel will showcase diverse educational case studies from Canada, Alaska, and Norway, offering perspectives on creating inclusive, place-based educational programs that effectively engage UArctic thematic networks, graduate students, and community partners.
Following the panel, we will delve deeper into collaborative discussions during a workshop (conversation cafe). This session aims to draw on the collective experiences and insights from community members, UArctic thematic networks and students, to formulate a dynamic and adaptable educational framework.
Your participation would be invaluable in shaping the future of circumpolar education, ensuring it is reflective of diverse Indigenous perspectives and resonates with northern youth. We are particularly interested in incorporating your insights into the development of our curriculum and pedagogical resources.
Please let us know if you would be interested in joining us for this important conversation by clicking RSVP on the flyer attached. We are keen to hear your thoughts and look forward to potentially collaborating with you to enhance educational opportunities across the Arctic.
