The UArctic Thematic Network on Science Diplomacy has created a Next-Generation Science Diplomat Committee. Primary activities of the Committee will involve education, research, publication, outreach and events.  

The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is currently accepting applications for its autumn 2024 science diplomacy internship.



New Genre Arctic Art Education (AAE) is a collaborative initiative of the Thematic Networks on Arctic Sustainable Art and Design (ASAD) and Children of the Arctic to develop culturally, socially, and ecologically sustainable art education that takes into account the changing conditions of the northern regions. 

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) regional Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Center invites applications for two research assistants in social science to work on the Arctic Rivers Project. These positions may work remotely; however, preference will be given to applicants located in Colorado and Alaska.








Dear Arctic is a documentary film about arctic research and researchers from the Arctic Centre in the University of Lapland. The documentary film is produced by Finnish youth media RARE and journalist and visiting researcher at the Arctic Center Johannes Roviomaa.
