The event is organized by the Arctic Indigenous Film Foundation, Film.Gl-Greenland Film Makers, and the University of the Arctic (UArctic).
This two day event will consist of a panel discussion on how the Arctic Indigenous peoples in film and media fight against climate change from the perspective of the free, prior, and informed.

This panel and film screenings will be part of the programming for our Arctic Indigenous exhibition Arctic Highway and will coincide with the Indigenous People’s Forum presented at the United Nations.
Scandinavia House, the cultural center of the American-Scandinavian Foundation, strives to build cultural and educational ties between the United States and the five Nordic countries. Scandinavia House offers a wide range of programs, including art, design, and historical exhibitions as well as film series, concerts, lectures, symposia, language courses, and children's programs that illuminate the contemporary vitality of the Nordic countries.
